Changelog
Every Naumu release, newest first - new features, improvements, and fixes.
Agents That Plan Ahead
Big requests used to be a black box until the agent finished — now it writes its plan into a note and works through it step by step, where you can watch and steer.
Hands-Off Automations
Agent work triggered through the API used to stall waiting for a confirmation nobody was there to give — now it states the plan and applies it in one go.
Topics & People, Instantly
Organizing a new space used to take setup — now typing # or @ right in the composer creates your first topic or invites people on the spot.
Other changes
- Escape while typing, pressing Escape now closes the panel without losing your draft
- Easier composer focus, clicking anywhere on the message card now focuses the input
- The AI can rename notes, ask it to retitle a note and it updates in place
- Correct integration labels, messages sent through connected apps now show their integration badge reliably
Recording Grows Up

Other changes

- Bigger touch targets, composer pills are sized for thumbs on mobile
- Calmer thread previews, hover previews wait a beat longer before opening
- Starting a new chat on mobile keeps the topic you had open
- Solo spaces keep #misc loud, unreads and notifications now show there

Other changes

- Task lists survive markdown round trips between chat, notes, and agents
- Branch conversations inherit their topics and notify mentioned members
- Emails render more reliably, avatars resolve everywhere and every email carries a plain-text part
- Coding-agent connect card, chat suggests the Naumu MCP setup when it fits the conversation

Polish & Hotfixes

- Precise mentions, the AI only responds to real @-mentions, not its name typed as plain text
- No duplicate guests, guests no longer appear in both the Members and Guests sections

Chat Polish Roundup
A batch of small chat upgrades that add up - one-click attachment downloads, pinned day markers, and threads that finally keep their titles.

A Sidebar That Adds Up
Badges, rows and feeds used to disagree about what was unread; now they all count the same thing, on a sidebar with one obvious home for every conversation.
Other changes
- Reactions on your messages now count toward your unread badge, and clear when the reaction is taken back
- Guests see unread state on threads instead of everything looking read
- Bold now means unread, not selected — opening an unread thread visibly marks it read
- Notes, views and canvases highlight as selected in the sidebar when their panel is open
- misc is one plain chronological stream now, with notes and views you share with someone moving to that person's row
- No more small browser tooltips doubling up on the rich hover cards
Control Who Sees What
Every message now shows exactly who will see it and whether Naumu will reply — before you hit send, with a Tab keystroke to flip either.
Other changes
- Signing in now lands you in the last space you had open
- Start a new chat straight from a topic's threads pane
- The full sidebar shows from first render instead of revealing sections gradually
- Unreads now follow what concerns you — member rows credit the sender, and quiet #misc traffic gets a for-you divider
- Drafts are kept separately per topic, and the welcome composer starts fresh each time
- Reopened background threads refresh properly instead of showing a stale thinking indicator
- AI change cards now open as a compact collapsed list
- Graph and schema empty states now explain how to build by chatting

- Web search results cite real source URLs instead of redirect hostnames
- Threads created by webhooks now get a Naumu reply
- Fatal space errors show a real error screen instead of "Space Not Found"

Topics Change Everything

Other changes
- Browse members, every member and agent is findable in the sidebar, with DMs filed under their row
- Thread summaries, sidebar cards show evolving AI summaries so you can tell threads apart at a glance

Your Tools, Live in Your Graph
Connecting Linear, ClickUp, or Jira used to just wire up the agent — now their issues and tasks sync straight into your space as a live, read-only source you can organize and build knowledge around.
Other changes
- Cleaner event runs, agent runs triggered by events no longer post a stray trigger-context divider
- Sources hub in schema view, the integration region now sits on its own Sources hub for a clearer layout
Connect Your Tools
Naumu used to keep to its own graph — now the @Naumu agent can reach outside it, connecting MCP servers and OAuth apps like Notion, Linear, and Jira from an inline card with a single click.
Other changes
- Faster webhook placement, inbound webhook events now drop into your graph far faster and cheaper
- Inbound-only integrations, trackers now sync one way into Naumu — the old write-back and reconciliation jobs were removed for more predictable syncing
- Clearer connect errors, a failed MCP connection now shows the real reason and the inline card flips to connected right after OAuth
- Leaner agent toolset, retired unused canvas, view, and planning tools so the agent stays focused on graph work
Smarter Conversations
Mentioning someone directly now pulls in the right participant based on what you actually meant, and the @Naumu agent stays a single steady presence across webhooks, imports, and doc builds instead of multiplying.
Other changes
- Steadier @Naumu agent, the agent stays a single presence across webhooks, imports, and doc builds instead of minting a new one per task
- Reliable visibility switcher, the composer's visibility control stays interactive even with zero recipients selected
Titles That Keep Up
Conversation titles used to be set once from the first message and never change - now they follow the topic as the chat evolves.
Other changes
- Cleaner mobile composer, the bottom gradient no longer paints over the sidebar when the navigation drawer is open
- Reliable date fields, the AI now creates calendar-date attributes as real dates instead of an ever-growing list of values
Clearer Graphs, Steadier App
Nodes connected more than once now show each link distinctly instead of stacking, and a heavy-load freeze that could lock up the app for everyone is gone.
Other changes
- Reliable space covers, the graph cover image now renders dependably for large graphs instead of timing out
Faster & More Polished
This release speeds up the parts you touch most and smooths the rough edges - quicker chat and sidebar, smarter view filters, emoji as you type, and copyable links throughout.
Other changes
- Accurate diff cards, the before value in a change card now shows what it actually was at the time, not the node's current value
- Steadier links, the link toolbar updates as you move the cursor and typing next to a link no longer extends it

- Cleaner public spaces, the graph canvas no longer shows through behind the chat
- Space avatar is now visible on the mobile drawer sheet

- Private agent cleanup stays out of public conversations
Built for Teams
Organize people into groups and @mention a whole team at once. Paid plans can also opt in to automatic daily backups, rolling a space back to any earlier checkpoint.

Other changes
- More consistent multi-step agent operations via read-batching and per-call invariants
- Order-safe diff validation for more reliable graph edits
Mentions Made Reliable
Mentioning teammates could crash the composer or silently do nothing - every @ now lands: the prompt appears, the right people get added, and Naumu waits its turn.
Other changes
- Invited teammates are mentionable, members who haven't signed in yet now get the add-to-conversation prompt too
Lighter Browser Storage
The app used to hoard megabytes of cached data in your browser; it now stores only what makes startup fast and clears stale data automatically.
