Agent sessions

What you need

• The Naumu desktop app, running and signed in. It does the syncing, and folders can only be linked there, not in a browser.
• Claude Code or Codex used on that computer.
• A seat in the space. Guests can't sync sessions or see them.

Turn it on for a space

Agent sessions is off until an owner or admin turns it on.

1. Open Settings → Agent sessions.
2. Under Sharing, switch it on. The label changes to Team shared - every member can read synced sessions.

Other members see On - managed by admins or Off - managed by admins in place of the switch.

The first time the desktop app finds Claude Code or Codex on your computer, a setup dialog offers these same steps. Select Not now to skip it.

Link your folders

Nothing leaves your computer until you link a folder. Each member links their own.

1. In the desktop app, open Settings → Agent sessions in the space you want to sync into.
2. Under This Mac, select Manage folders.
3. Under Suggested, select Link next to a folder you run Claude Code or Codex in. For a folder that isn't listed, select Add folder.
4. Select Done.

Each suggested folder shows how many sessions it holds and roughly how much text that is. Check it before you link: everything already under the folder comes along, not just new sessions.

After that, syncing runs by itself. A session uploads once it has been quiet for about five minutes. Each linked folder shows its progress, such as 12 sessions - 12 synced.

A folder syncs into one space. One that already syncs into another space shows Move here: moving it syncs its history into this space, and sessions already in the other space stay there.

What gets synced, and what doesn't

Synced:

• The prompts you typed.
• What the agent wrote back, including its notes along the way, merged into one reply per prompt.
• The session's title, folder, git branch and repository address, and time, and whether it was Claude Code or Codex.

Left out:

• Tool activity - the files the agent read, the commands it ran and their output, and its thinking.
• Images pasted into a prompt.
• Subagent sessions and automated runs, such as scripted claude -p calls.
• Work outside your linked folders. Only turns run inside a linked folder, or a folder within it, are uploaded.
• Secrets. Common API key formats, private key blocks, and values written like password=... or token=... are replaced with [redacted] before anything leaves your computer.

Read synced sessions

Open Explore in the sidebar and choose Agent sessions. The list is newest first, and you can filter it by member. Select a session to read it: the prompts and replies in order, with who ran it, which agent, and the folder and branch.

Naumu searches synced sessions along with your conversations. When an answer draws on one, it links to the exact turn, and the link opens the session at that spot. See Chatting with Naumu.

Who can see synced sessions

Every member of the space can read every synced session. There is no private option, so link only folders you are happy to share with the whole space. Guests and public visitors never see them. See Members & sharing for roles.

Sync follows your account

Folder links belong to the account signed in to the desktop app, not to the computer, so someone else who signs in on the same computer starts with no linked folders. When you sign out, syncing stops.

Stop syncing or remove sessions

• Unlink a folder - in Manage folders, select Unlink. New sessions from that folder stop uploading. Sessions already synced stay in the space.
• Turn it off for the space - an owner or admin switches Sharing off. Synced sessions disappear from search and Explore right away. Nothing is deleted, so switching it back on restores them.
• Delete your sessions - under Danger zone, Delete my sessions removes every session you synced into this space, for everyone. Linked folders keep syncing new sessions unless you unlink them first.
• Delete everyone's sessions - owners and admins also get Delete all sessions.
