Introduction
Naumu is a knowledge graph and chat workspace where humans and AI agents build shared context together.
What Naumu is
Naumu turns the things you describe into structured, connected knowledge. You write or talk the way you already think - in messy, half-finished sentences - and Naumu organizes what you said into a memory you can explore, edit, and share.
A space is the home for one body of work - a product, a research project, a wedding, a D&D campaign, anything.
Inside a space, your knowledge lives as a memory: a connected web made of two simple parts:
- Nodes - the discrete pieces of information: an idea, a person, a task, a thing.
- Edges - the relationships that connect those pieces.
You never have to build that memory by hand. You build it by chatting.
The mental model
If you remember one thing, make it this loop:
- You add knowledge by chatting. Tell Naumu about your work in plain language, paste a document, or sketch an idea. There is no form to fill in.
- The AI structures it. Naumu reads what you said and proposes nodes and edges, turning loose text into a connected, searchable shape. Every change it makes shows up as a diff - a before-and-after preview you approve - so you stay in control.
- Your memory grows and stays one source of truth. As you keep talking, the same underlying memory gets richer. Different views, notes, and canvases are all lenses onto that one shared structure - never separate copies.
Sitting over your memory is a schema: the node types and relationships Naumu has learned from your content. The schema is the shape of your space. It grows with you, instead of being a template someone else designed.
You do not need to understand any of this to use Naumu. If you can write a note or drag a card, you can use it. Your memory is what makes the workspace smart underneath - you only look at it when you want to.
The three pillars
Naumu stands on three things working together. Remove any one and the product changes shape entirely.
- The memory - the connected store of everything you know, with a living schema that captures the types of things in your space and how they relate.
- Chat - how you add and retrieve knowledge. You talk; an AI agent reads your schema, drafts changes as reviewable diffs, and answers questions grounded in your real memory.
- Agents - AI participants that read and write your memory alongside you. An agent can run on Naumu's hosted model or connect from your own runtime, answering questions and proposing changes you review before they apply.
